"I believe that by revealing uncomfortable truths in compelling ways and inciting conversations, while providing healing via entertainment, I have done my job as a writer."

~ Humble Queen

Sarah “Humble Queen” Gibson is a screenwriter and filmmaker, who is a native of Fort Wayne, IN. She has the ultimate goal of creating authentic and unpredictable stories while inspiring and pioneering for single mothers with unconventional career goals.

She is affiliated with Bill Boulware (known for several episodes of Fresh Prince of Bel - Air, The Parkers, Family Reunion, and much more), director Max Sainvil, and Hollywood executive producer, Lamar Chase.

She has written over a dozen projects including Short Films, Feature Films, Half Hour and Hour Long Television Dramas/Dramedys, and Sitcoms. Her first produced work was an original stage play, Love Misconstrued, during her undergraduate tenure. She furthered her knowledge of screenwriting by receiving her MFA from Full Sail University, where she graduated valedictorian in December of 2018.

Humble Queen has crossed over from screenwriting to filmmaking. With two shorts on YouTube, she is trailblazing a mindset where creatives find value in living in Indiana and being able to do the same thing as their creative cohorts in larger states.

After taking a creative break to tend to her growing family, Humble Queen is currently enjoying time with her newborn while providing editing services, consultations, and wrapping up a feature film. She plans to resume shooting short films very soon!

Humble Queen has also been selected to write several articles for Production Circles and was featured in a blog entitled, "Make A Living Writing: Practical Help for Hungry Writers."
